It is very difficult for devoted collectors of former pine, as even restorers will strip and sand these pieces because they are determined to be undesirable by most pine collectors.

Cedar furniture is certainly saleable in its former stale, but will sell faster and to a broader cross-section of the collecting society if cleaned and the finish brightened up which is disappointing to me as a assembler complicated in the conservation of furniture.
